OpenStack is an open source platform that uses pooled virtual resources to build and manage private and public clouds.
OpenStack's architecture is made up of numerous open source projects. There are 6 stable, core services that handle compute, networking, storage, identity, and images while more than a dozen optional ones vary in developmental maturity. Those 6 core services (Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Keystone and Glance) are the infrastructure that allows the rest of the projects to handle dashboarding, orchestration, bare-metal provisioning, messaging, containers, and governance. Red Hat Openstack Platform is Red Hat’s Enterprise version of the Openstack project.
From the ground up
Our Redpill Linpro Nordic Cloud (RLNC) uses Open Source technology from the ground up, and is an essential ingredient in all services. The most prominent example of this is OpenStack as the component that connects all the parts together. It is hosted in our state-of-the-art data centres in Oslo, Norway and fully delivered from within the GDPR jurisdiction.
Our consultants also work with our customer’s OpenStack deployments on a daily basis. We can help you get your OpenStack projects up and running. If you are looking to upgrade to the latest OpenStack release, need help with troubleshooting, assistance to implement an OpenStack component or looking for guidance in your OpenStack strategy.
